The 2nd Capacity Development Workshop of the IWAMA project focuses on energy efficiency in the wastewater treatment sector. The workshop is organized on 7–8 June 2017 in Szczecin, Poland.
The first day of the programme extensively covers various approaches to energy efficient operation and water management in general. The agenda includes technical presentations, covers the issue of public participation in the water management sphere, and several case studies from the Baltic Sea Region. Moreover, the first day features the suppliers' orienteering session aimed at bringing together operators of the wastewater treatment plants and technical solutions.
The second day starts with the site visit to the Pomorzany WWTP – the flagman wastewater treatment project of Szczecin, large facilities constructed in 2000s. The program will continue afterwards with project-related sessions.
The event is primarily open for partners, associated partners and invited stakeholders.
