The framework of the IWAMA project includes, among other activities, several workshops aimed at developing professional knowledge in the wastewater treatment sphere. The first workshop of the series will introduce identification of capacity development needs in wastewater treatment plants. It will take place on 20-21 September 2016 in Lahti, Finland.
Presentations, seminars and workshops will all be organized in the Sibelius Hall, an iconic construction of the city of Lahti. The event will also present a site visit to the local Kariniemi wastewater treatment plant run by Lahti Aqua Ltd., which is situated across the street from the conference location.
